Design Your Way Forward

Let's take a journey together.

CREATING SPACE

Do you think it’s possible to grow at any age and any stage of life? What are you willing to let go of in order to move forward? Change is not always comfortable but I work alongside you to ease your way and provide a safe space for you to think out loud, explore possibilities, discover some steps to take now, and then later.

GAINING PERSPECTIVE

Any change we make has to come from within. Let me help you find a new perspective. Come with me to step outside yourself and take a look. I am objective, yet warm. Logical, yet emotional. Smart, and soulful.

FINDING RESILIENCE

Like most people, I have faced losses that I thought I might not be able to overcome – The unexpected and premature death of my spouse, and my mother's tragic death when I was too young to understand. The deaths of other family and friends. Job loss. I've changed homes, cities, roles, careers. I value resilience, and I can recognize it in others. I define resilience as an ability to “bounce forward” and not just return to the same equilibrium you had before the disruption. Let me help you find your own resilience.  Let’s use the turmoil to rethink, rewire, reorient yourself to the possibilities that the future will bring.

My Approach

I want to know what’s important to you.

How do you want to spend your precious time?

My Story

My Story

I have worked with hundreds of people of all ages, and from disparate career paths to gain clarity and focus for their next steps. After my own career pivot, I have spent the past 15 years providing career coaching in academic settings, working with experienced alumni from Columbia Business School, and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

I am a certified coach in the popular Designing Your Life program which I find to be transformational for clients. I recently completed the certification for the Gallup CliftonStrengths assessment. Both of these support my focus on leading with your natural abilities and creating a life with intent and purpose. I am also certified in the Tiara Model for True Leadership (SM), and very familiar with a variety of other assessments. I earned a Master of Arts degree in Counseling and Organizational Psychology from Adler University – fulfilling a lifelong interest in human psychology. I have an MBA in Marketing and Finance from DePaul University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing from Loyola University.

What can you expect when working with me?

We will start with the big questions - What does work mean to you? What are you curious about exploring? How did you get to where you are? Where would you really like to go? What would it take to get there?

We will focus on what is most important to you now. What do you want this next stage of your life to mean? Sometimes this takes the focus on your current career, but we can also explore what is next beyond your professional life. Our goal will be to design a life you are excited to lead.
